The faces of our cabinetry, including face frames, doors and drawer fronts, are fabricated from recycled lumber from old homes and other structures. Often the material was used previously for flooring, wall boards, siding or granary boards.

The interiors of all cabinetry is constructed from formaldehyde-free plywood.

Our cabinetry is hand-finished with chemically safe milk paint. This is an environmentally friendly paint and is made with biodegradable ingredients. The traditional formula has been used to make milk paint for hundreds of years.

The most common choice for countertops on our cabinetry is soapstone. This natural stone requires no harmful, solvent-based finishes – only the periodic application of food-safe, mineral oil.
